Maybe best known for our fun, legendary El Gigante burrito challenge, please come hungry enough to try and conquer the almost 5-pound mammoth sized burrito in less than 60 minutes and take home a fun tee shirt that says, “I conquered The El Gigante!” Proud owners, Antoni and his son Tony say that less than a third of their customers take home the tee and the bragging rights of conquering the El Gigante challenge!

Our Story
Bandido‛s first opened in 1995. Over the years, we have become a staple in Chapel Hill and our El Gigante has become a “rite of passage” for UNC students. Our loyal fans have voted us BEST in many categories over the years from BEST Service to BEST Salsa and BEST MEXICAN!
